BIBLICAL FAITH IS BASED ON EVIDENCE

Faith is not a belief in something that is based on no proof, as is asserted by some in the world. Faith, is not believing; in something, with no reasons (a leap in the dark). Faith is the conviction, assurance, or belief of the truth based upon some type of evidence or proof - Romans 10:17

You must have faith in God to be able to be victorious over the giants in your life - Hebrews 11:6

With faith, God will deliver you from the giants in your life. In Daniel chapter 3, we learn Shadrach, Meshach, and Adednego overcame the "giant" of the fiery furnace of King Nebuchadnezzar because of the faith they had in God in not bowing down to the image the king had made to be worshiped.

Therefore, let each of us make sure we have full faith in God so that God will be our foundation, protector, and deliverer - Psalm 18:1-3

In Romans 8:31, the Bible teaches us if God be for us who can be against us?

Let us be like David and have faith that can move mountains and defeat the giants, the goliaths in your life.

DON’T ALLOW YOUR FAITH TO BE STIFLED BY UNBELIEVERS - 1 Samuel 17:32-40

King Saul believed David was not able to go up against and fight Goliath the Philistine because of his youth and the lack of experience of being a man of war. But David believed in what God had done for him as a shepherd, in killing a bear and a lion, and was confident that God would deliver him from this uncircumcised Philistine - Philippians 4:13; 1 Samuel 17:33-37

Don’t allow the unfaithful to be a stumbling block to you in regard to being faithful and obeying God. Did David allow Saul to deter him from fighting goliath, or was he discouraged when he could not use Saul’s armor to fight?  No! - 1 Samuel 17:38-40

In Numbers chapter 13, when the 12 men that searched out the land came back to report, Caleb encouraged the congregation to go up at once to possess the land as he had faith in God to deliver it, but 10 of the men bought back an evil report and discouraged the people.  Therefore, God punished them for their lack of faith.

ALWAYS REMEMBER IT IS THE LORD THAT OVERCOMES THE GIANTS - 1 Samuel 17:41-54

Oftentimes it’s easy to lift yourself up in pride with your accomplishments and your own abilities and come to the mistaken belief that your own hand has saved you - 1 Corinthians 10:12

This is why it’s important to realize that it is God that wins the battles for us (the battle is the Lord’s) - 1 Samuel 17:45-47

David relied upon the Lord to deliver him into his hand that they might know that there is a God in Israel. You and I must learn to trust God to delivery us out of the hands of the giants in our lives - Proverbs 3:5-6

David took a smooth stone from his bag and slung it at Goliath. It sunk into his head and he fell down and David slew him - 1 Samuel 17:49-50

By faith the Israelites passed through the Red Sea on dry ground.  The Egyptians tried to do the same, but they were drowned and defeated - Hebrews 11:29

By faith the walls of Jericho fell down after they compassed it 7 times, as instructed - Hebrews 11:30

WHY NOT PUT YOUR FAITH IN GOD?

Become a Christian and Be Saved: HEAR, BELIEVE, REPENT, CONFESS, BE BAPTIZED.
